Ale Schneider, principal second violin

 

Alessandra Schneider completed her Master’s degree in Violin Performance with an emphasis in Suzuki String Pedagogy at the University of Maryland under the supervision of Suzuki specialist, Ronda Cole. She received her Bachelor’s in Instrumental Music Education from the University of Delaware in 2006. During her time in Delaware, she performed with the Dover Symphony, was a founding member of the Pthalo String Quartet, served as concertmaster for the University of Delaware Orchestra, and taught at the University of Delaware Community Music School, as well as privately. Since moving to Maryland, Alessandra has performed with the Avanti Orchestra and as well as the Inscape Music Project Chamber Orchestra and Perfect Harmony String Quartet. She teaches Suzuki violin at the Academy of Music, and the Animato Suzuki Violin Program. She also is a trained Music Mind Games teacher, and serves on the board for the MD/DC Chapter of The American String Teacher’s Association as the Membership Chair and Suzuki Liaison.
